While the government spokesperson and the Minister of Communications have only smiled in front of the cameras and journalists' questions about the fate of removing the filters from the platforms for more than a year, and have avoided giving a clear answer with a repeated sentence that "the government stands by its commitment to the people" or "removing the filters with newness is under review", the behind-the-scenes news tells of the failure of the implementation of the second step of removing the filters from the platforms.

Follow-ups from various sources show that on Saturday, the third of November, the committee to review the removal of filtering, which was formed last year by the order of Masoud Bizikian at the National Center for Cyber ​​Space, held a meeting to remove the filter from Telegram, YouTube, and Instagram platforms, and in the end, this committee voted against removing the filter from these platforms.

In this way, after more than 16 months of the promise of Masoud Bizikian to remove internet restrictions and end filtering, only two platforms, WhatsApp and Google Play, have been freed from filtering, and the Ministry of Communications has made many advertising maneuvers on these two items during this period.

On the other hand, with the recent negative vote of the filtering committee in the Supreme Council of Cyberspace;  In the sensitive situation of the country, where crisis after crisis occurs, the project of insistence of the head of the 4th government for consensus in this Supreme Council has faced a serious failure.

In the meantime, doctors continue to insist on reaching an agreement with the group that is the beneficiary of filtering, but users have given up hope of fulfilling the promise of removing the filter of Mr. President, because they prefer to continue using their popular platforms with the filter breaker instead of feeling more disappointed.  Many believe that the promise of removing the filter of the 14th government has now turned from a national priority to a boring joke.
