In two separate decrees, the President appointed 13 legal members and 9 members of the Board of Trustees of the National Elite Foundation.

Masoud Pezeshkian in a ruling, based on Note (2) of paragraph (a) of Article (8) of the amended statute of the National Elite Foundation of the country approved on November 13, 2006 by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Mr. Mohammad Reza Aref, First Vice President, Mr. Alireza Kazemi, Minister of Education, Mr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, Minister of Health, Mr. Hossein Simaei Sarraf, Minister of Science, Mr. Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture, Mr. Alaeddin Rafizadeh, Head of the Administrative and Employment Organization, Mr. Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi, Head of the Planning and Budget Organization, and Mr. Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science. He appointed Abdolhossein Khosropanah, the secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, the president of the Islamic Azad University, Ali Montazeri, the head of the Academic Jihad, Alireza Monadi Sefidan, the head of the Parliament's Education Commission, and Mostafa Rostami, the head of the Supreme Leader's Representation in Universities, as legal members of the board of trustees of the National Elite Foundation.

In another decree, the President also referred to Note (3) of paragraph (b) of Article (8) of the Amended Statute of the National Elite Foundation approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution on July 10, 2006 and based on the proposal of the honorable President of the National Elite Foundation, taking into account the scientific records and valuable experiences, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Gharavi and Alireza Arafi, Messrs. Saeed Sohrabpour, Mohammad Baqer Ardeshir Larijani, Peyman Salehi, Seyyed Reza Hosseini, Mohammad Hossein Rezaei, and Ms. Elham Yavari and Elaheh Hejazi He appointed Moghari as a real member of the Board of Trustees of the National Elite Foundation.
