Firouzabadi's reaction to Iran's claim of negotiations with foreign platforms to remove filtering
What is stated in the decision to remove the filtering of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace
Seyyed Abolhassan Firouzabadi, former secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace:
What is mentioned in the resolution to remove the filtering of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace may be a set of measures that have not been reflected publicly in order not to create expectations.
I believe that the Supreme Council of Cyberspace has had a good start and should investigate and make decisions that they promised to fulfill by the eve of Eid.
It is unlikely that negotiations with foreign platforms to remove the filtering will be successful, because there are political considerations in this regard, so the agreement with these platforms cannot be concluded due to the sanctions, and the decision must be made unilaterally, as in other cases where we have circumvented the sanctions.
