A postscript to the letter of Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashami Pour, the wife of Seyyed Mostafa Tajzadeh, a political prisoner.
As I mentioned in the previous footnote, Evin Prison does not in any way directly affect the transfer and relocation of prisoners (meaning non-security prisoners) from the Revolutionary Guards and the Ministry of Intelligence, even the protection of information by the judiciary does not affect them and they do not take any action.
The transfer or limitation of inmates in prison is solely contingent upon the approval of the prison classification council, chaired by the supervising judge of the prison, or directly communicated by the competent judicial authority related to the inmate, such as the prosecutor and their deputies and judicial assistants (the prison supervisor or the execution of sentences).
Ms. Mohtashami is certainly aware that she should pursue this matter diligently, and I hope the presidency of the judiciary responds appropriately to her.
At the same time, investigating the root cause of this issue and filing a complaint regarding the conditions of detention through the Inspection Department of the Tehran Prisons Administration or the General Inspector of the Prisons Organization, or by referring to the special prosecutor for security crimes initially would be beneficial before taking further action
