Public Relations of the Expediency Council: The Hijab and Chastity bill has been approved by the High Supervisory Board

The Media and Public Relations Center of the Expediency Council announced that the Family Support Bill through the promotion of Hijab and Chastity culture has been reviewed and approved by the High Supervisory Board in a session and has been communicated to the Guardian Council on May 30, 2024.

The complete text of this explanation is as follows:

1. Decisions of the High Supervisory Board are approved by a majority vote of its members and are not solely based on the opinion of the Chairman.

2. The Family Support Bill through the promotion of Hijab and Chastity culture was amended in the Islamic Consultative Assembly after the inconsistencies declared by the High Supervisory Board with the issued general policies. The amendments made in Parliament were re-evaluated in the High Supervisory Board, which accepted them. On 30/02/1403, the favorable opinion of the members of the High Supervisory Board was communicated to the Guardian Council.
