t is quite surprising that you would solely reference a law that has subsequent higher legal documents, and similarly to Dr. Hojjatoleslam Mohsen Barahani, elaborate on the concept of "La Ilaha" without mentioning "Illallah"!

Dear Mr. Jahromi,

I am neither a lawyer for the National Security Council, nor for the Ministry of Interior, nor for the Islamic Republic;

However, I am astonished by a political figure and especially an astute intelligence officer like yourself, that you would intentionally disregard Article 176 of the Constitution approved in 1989, which was established after the enactment of the ordinary law you cited. Furthermore, you overlook the numerous decisions made throughout the various terms of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) with the approval of Ayatollah Khamenei, aimed at granting additional powers and transforming the structure of this council, of which you have been at least partly responsible for implementing directives issued by Mr. Firouzabadi at the Ministry of Intelligence and multiple references you made to the staff and subordinate organizations of your ministry.

If you deny this, I am sure that your references as the high-ranking minister are documented in the confidential archives of the Ministry of Communications and the Security Office of this ministry.

If you still have doubts, you should ask your colleagues among the presidents and secretaries of the various terms of the Supreme National Security Council and the heads of the National Security Council, who are your friends, how so much authority has been granted throughout these "terms"?

Moreover, I have advised Dr. Barahani, who has tweeted similar statements, that it would be better for respected stakeholders or any citizens to bring petitions of grievance regarding these resolutions and decisions made by what you call the "consultative" council to the General Court of Administrative Justice, and subsequently publicize the court's ruling; this would clarify and bring transparency to the issue.

Wouldn’t that be better?
