In response to a collective complaint from university graduates regarding the Student Affairs Organization's directive to increase the fee for releasing academic degrees sixfold, the General Assembly of the Administrative Justice Court deemed this regulation non-cancelable.
A portion of the court ruling states:
"The amount set for the fee, considering inflation indices and for the purpose of calculating actual costs, is justified, and its difference from previous years does not constitute a basis for its inconsistency with legal standards."
It is noteworthy that in April of this year, the President tasked the Minister of Science with urgently reviewing the objections to this directive; however, no changes were ultimately made to the specified amounts.
In the note made nine months ago, I mentioned in the attached postscript that the negligence of Gholamhossein Esmaeili indicated that this controversy was merely another show from the office of Ayatollah Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and nothing more.
