Hamed Vafaie, a member of the faculty of Tehran University in an interview with Iran:

During the war, some Chinese thinkers referred to a traditional proverb;  "Sitting on the tall mountain and watching the tigers."  This parable in Chinese literature means deliberate impartiality in crises that cost China high and there is no immediate interest.

More than five years ago, this three -part "strategic, comprehensive and long -term" trilogy was the basis for the formulation of the Iranian -China cooperation document;  A document that was supposed to be a practical map for real and purposeful participation.  But the important question is to what extent this partnership has been realized over the years and has gone beyond the slogan and paper.
