Sanctions will increase as new US administration takes office
Emphasizing whether regional issues can be one of the topics discussed by Iran and the United States, Ajam, a member of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told Iran Watch:
Iran, as a country that supports the resistance movement, can hold talks with the other parties on issues in the Middle East. Of course, we do not have the right to make deals with anyone over the interests of the resistance movement or the people of the countries of the region, and the Islamic Republic does not do so, but the issues of the region, the resistance movement, and the issue of ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon can definitely be one of the issues under negotiation."
