Ahmad Zeidabadi, political analyst: The hijab law is a totalitarian control over the personal life and existence of citizens.

A look at the text of the Hijab and Chastity law shows that its designers, drafters, and approvers have, knowingly or unknowingly, sought to impose the totalitarian aspect over the other aspects. In fact, this law is not related to chastity and hijab, nor is it limited to these areas. This law extends a kind of totalitarian surveillance over the personal life and existence of citizens to all branches of the government and society and, in practice and theory, changes the nature of the political system.
