Condolences to the people of "Mahabad", "Piranshahr", "Juanrud", "Dehgolan", "Divandre" and... Kurdistan.

I was the prime minister's representative in Kurdistan in 1958. When I wanted to go to Mahabad from Urmia, the late Timsar "Zahirenjad" commander of the 64th army of Urmia, the late Hojjatul Islam "Hosni" Imam of Urmia, and Dr. Jamshid Haqgu, the governor of West Azerbaijan, said that you should go to Mahabad with troops and you cannot go alone.

I said that I am not a soldier and I do not know the difference between a rifle and a cartridge. I did not come to fight, I want to talk to my compatriots. They said you don't know anything about the Kurds. Was there no one else from Tehran to send in your place? I said no, it wasn't, and even though I'm a timid person and I was very scared, I went to Mahabad without a military escort along the beautiful Lake Urmia road. A few months later, Tehran entered Mahabad with troops.

Today, after 43 years, Nizam still enters Mahabad with troops. The question remains within these 43 years, what progress has been made in terms of political development and civil society in Kurdistan? 43 years ago, Tehran was entering Mahabad and Sanandaj with troops, today after 43 years, it is still entering Mahabad with troops.
