In 1948, Roshanak joined Radio Iran and worked in various sections as an announcer until 1955.

She was the announcer for the Golha program, and many Iranians remember this program with her voice as she recited poetry flawlessly. Her eloquence in delivering Persian poetry remains a cherished memory for many, having influenced the popular understanding of literary works.

In a 1975 interview, Roshanak said: "When I wanted to join the radio, 81 people had applied for the announcer position, and I was selected from among them.

Those who evaluated me included the late Saeed Nafisi, Hossein-Qoli Mosta'an, Hossein Zahedi, the late Sobhi, and a few others whose names I can’t recall now. The late Pirnia invited me to collaborate on the third Golha program.

He also chose the name 'Roshanak' for me, and the first poem I recited on the Golha program was this one:"

Obedience is beyond reach, sin must be committed
In the heart of a friend, by any means, a path must be sought

At night, when the sun of the world is out of sight
This journey must be crossed by the light of the moon

Roshanak passed away on June 10, 2012, and was laid to rest in the village of Ahar, one of the villages of Rudbar District in the county of Shemiran, Tehran Province.

May her soul rest in peace, and her name be eternally remembered in the history of Iranian culture and art.
