Major General Manoochehr Khosroodad was a helicopter pilot and the last commander of the CH-47 Chinook and Bell 214 of the Imperial Iranian Army Aviation. After the victory of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, he was arrested on February 13, 1979, at the Army General Staff headquarters, tried by the Revolutionary Courts, and executed on February 15, 1979. He was known as the "Record-breaking Pilot" and one of the best commanders in military aviation.
