Hosseyn Behzad was an Iranian painter born in Tehran. He worked for many years as a technical staff member at the General Department of Archaeology and was a professor of miniatures at the Tehran School of Fine Arts.
The street where he lived in Tehran was originally named after Hossein Behzad, but following the Islamic Revolution, it was renamed Shahid No-Fallah Street. According to his will, his house in Tehran has been turned into a painting school.
