February 1952, Fatemi (right of the picture) is busy giving a speech at the grave of the murdered journalist Mohammad Massoud. Mohammad Mahdi Abdakhodaei, a member of Fidayyan Islam (left of the picture), took a gun under his coat to assassinate Fatemi. The assassination, of course, was unsuccessful.
