According to the Kayhan newspaper, Mr. Fakhr Yazdi was a cleric and a university professor. The Revolutionary Court prosecutor accused him of collaborating with SAVAK, advocating for the Shah's regime, consuming alcohol, and engaging in homosexual acts.
On May 23, 1979, Kayhan reported the execution of Mahmoud Fakhr Yazdi along with two others. Details regarding Mr. Yazdi's arrest and detention conditions are not available.
