The book "The Story of Christ " is the first Persian book ever printed in the world. It was published in 1639 in Leiden, Netherlands, and a copy of this work is preserved at the State Library of Moscow.

The book, with approximately a thousand pages, covers the life of Jesus Christ and Saint Peter, and includes a section on Persian grammar.

At that time, Persian was the prevalent language in the Indian subcontinent, and Western missionaries and colonizers had to use this language to achieve their objectives.

The book's original title is "Aina-e Haq Nama" or "Aina-e Quddus," but it is also known as "The Story of Christ."

The author of the book, Xavier, was a Catholic missionary who initially wrote it in Portuguese. It was later translated into Persian by order of Akbar Shah, and was published by the Dutch orientalist Louis Didon.
