Upon accepting Dr. Zali's resignation, Dr. Mohammad Esmaeil Ghidari was appointed as the acting president of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences by a decree issued by Dr. Zafarghandi, the Minister of Health and Medical Education.
