Out of 100,000 general practitioners, 50,000 of them are not working in their jobs
Reza Laripour, the technical and supervisory deputy of the Medical Council Organization, told Iran Watch:
Of the 100,000 general practitioners, 50,000 of them are not working in their jobs. Many of them also work in beauty clinics and work in so-called non-medical jobs. There are few applicants, and even 70 to 80 percent of the seats in these special fields are vacant
