I dreamed that a large Boeing passenger plane, belonging to America and colored red, crashed into the sea in front of the eyes of onlookers, and the pilot managed, despite severe injuries, to guide the plane underwater towards the shore.

Last night I suffered from insomnia. I was sleeping on a balcony overlooking the Karaj River. The loud sound of water and wind blowing through the tall trees, the strangeness of the sleeping place, frequent urination due to the change in weather, the limited space of the couch for sleeping, and worst of all, the noise of passing cars and the neighbor's guard dogs repeatedly woke me up. I dreamt that a large Boeing passenger plane, belonging to America and painted red, crashed into the sea in front of onlookers, and the pilot managed to guide the plane underwater towards the shore, bringing it to the coast despite significant damage. While flying over us, the plane also collided with electrical wires. I spent the whole day resting, walking in the garden, negotiating with Mr. Noori's children, and studying a book on comparative jurisprudence. We came home at night. I am tired and worn out.

The brutal attacks of Israel on the Palestinians continue, but [Benjamin Ben Eliezer], the Israeli Minister of Defense says the army cannot do anything to stop the suicide operations. After negotiating with two young Palestinian prisoners and realizing their mystical motivations, he has reached such a conclusion. At the same time, Israel is gradually stating explicitly that [Yasser] Arafat must be eliminated. [George Bush], the President of the United States, has officially proposed to Congress the establishment of a Department of Homeland Security with 170,000 personnel and a budget of $37 billion to compensate for the fragility of security. Although some view this as a maneuver to continue a war policy that has faced global opposition, Congress has been examining the reasons for the lack of action by the U.S. to prevent the events of September 11 for three days, and it gradually became clear that warnings had also been sent to the U.S. by the governments of Egypt, Germany, and England.

In Afghanistan, preparations for the Loya Jirga are underway. It is set to start on June 9th, with 1500 participants. Zahir Shah, who was responsible for the establishment of the Loya Jirga fifty years ago, will participate, and [Hamid] Karzai has nominated himself for the presidency of the interim government, apparently having a better chance than others. Reports of opposition from [Gulbuddin] Hekmatyar, the Taliban, and al-Qaeda are also escalating in preparation. The self-proclaimed governor has imprisoned the new governor introduced by Karzai.
