Ali Sharifian, accompanied by an individual named [Ebrahim] Yazdanparast, a resident of Bushehr, came and said that he is a [Persian] literature teacher and believes he has met the Imam of the Age (AS) or another unknown sacred figure, and having heard my description from him, has become a follower and traveled to Nooq [in Rafsanjan] to see my birthplace. He presented analyses regarding the war, my policies, and the situation of Iraq and the United States; some were correct, and some were fantasies.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Gholam-Hossein] Mohseni-Eje'i, [Prosecutor of the Special Clerical Court], came. He spoke about the situation of Ayatollah Montazeri, the [Ayandeh] Survey [Institute] court case, and Mr. [Abbas] Abdi personally; he mentioned that some interrogators believe it is better for him to be released so that, as he has committed, he can point out the flaws in the actions of the [Participation Front] members from outside of prison, and that he has recently written a letter from prison to the party raising their issues. He presented a report on an individual named [Hossein] Alikhani who is in Cyprus and exhibiting suspicious behavior, cooperating with National-[Religious] leaders, Participation Front members, and the 2nd of Khordad [reformist] movement; he stated that the pursuit of undesirable elements within the Participation Front and others must continue.
