Mr. [Abbasali] Alizadeh, Head of the Tehran Judiciary, came. He explained the case of Naser Tabasi, stating that a court will be formed for it by order of Mr. Shahroudi, [Head of the Judiciary], and this has caused distress to Mr. [Vaezi] Tabasi because the action was taken after arbitration and acquittal had been determined. He said that regarding the Ayandeh Polling Institute, Mr. [Abdollah] Ramezanzadeh, the government spokesman, has also been accused, and the Supreme Leader was questioned about his arrest; he said they should be summoned for investigation and not arrested before the crime is proven. He brought documents of their crimes.

He gave an account of his negotiations with the US and the program for the London conference [of opponents of Saddam Hussein], as well as possibilities regarding the future of Iraq, assuming a US attack. He believes war will come and said they would cooperate with the US only if it is not detrimental to the country and the people. They think the Iraqi army will not resist for long. He said they do not accept the partition of Iraq, and the Kurds do not seek independence. Federalism is their desired scenario, and secondarily, a unified government based on the people's free and independent vote, which is generally not what the US desires. I said, only a dictatorial government dependent on the US can secure US interests.

In South Korea, anti-American demonstrations have been ongoing for more than two weeks, and Christian priests and Buddhist Brahmins have also joined the people. The President asked the people to end the demonstrations and has asked the US to help cancel the capitulation agreement. Disturbances in Venezuela are increasing.
