Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Kinjad, the secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, came and gave a report on the council's actions to legalize and control the use of the Internet.  He criticized Dr. [Mustafa] Moin, [Minister of Culture and Higher Education];  Because of not paying attention to the Islamic and moral standards in the universities, as well as giving some of the powers of the Supreme Council [Cultural Revolution] to the ministry in the proposed bill that it gave to the parliament, despite the explicit order of the leadership.  He requested that if the bill is brought to the Assembly, these points should be taken into consideration.  

Dr. [Mehdi] Akbarzadeh, [Advisor to the Minister of Jihad for Agriculture] came.  He announced the removal of some of the obstacles in the research of poisons and consulted on new works.  Mr. Habibollah Taheri Gorgani, a member of the [Assembly] of experts and a friend from his school days, came to Qom. He spoke about the danger of the Wahhabis and Bahais and also gave a report about the discussion with the scholars in Qom and other personalities who usually do not consider anyone other than me suitable for the future presidency and asked me not to refuse.  I said that I decided not to accept.  On Saturday, Messrs. Natiq Nouri, Tabasi and Dari [Najafabadi] also said the same thing and heard the same answer.

Today's meeting of the [UN] Security Council regarding [disarmament of weapons of mass destruction] in Iraq still failed.  American and Israeli planes have broadcast many announcements in the south of Iraq in the continuation of the psychological war.
