Before noon, Mr. Sayad Shirazi came and gave a report on the future operation plan, which is problematic. At the same moment he was with me, Colonel Sakhai informed from the front that the Iraqis had attacked. Colonel Tarabi informed that today Iraq has launched 16 bombs that fell into water or desert and did not cause any damage.
Asr Ahmad Agha came and we discussed about the future government and the future problem. Mr. Mohsen Rezaei came and we discussed the war and the IRGC. They have a limited operation plan in the northern front and they don't want the 8th Najaf Army to fight in Mr. Sayad Shirazi's [operations] plan, and he wants the authority of the Commander-in-Chief - similar to what they have given to Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei and Zahirenjad in the army.
