According to the doctor's orders, I stayed at home until nine o'clock in the morning. The vice presidents ran the parliament. Dr. Arefi and Dr. Lotfi came, did an examination and determined that yesterday evening's condition was due to brain fatigue and not major fatigue. Blood and urine were taken for testing. I came to the parliament at half past nine.

In the reports, there is Israel's sensitivity towards Lebanon's Hezbollah and Iranian forces in the clashes in southern Lebanon, as well as the accusation of an Iranian person in connection with the Paris explosions. I participated in the meeting of the Supreme War Support Council. In the afternoon Salmani came to shave my head.

In the evening, Mr. [Mohammed Baqir] Zulqader and [Ibrahim] Sanjaghi came. They gave a report on the plan of special infantry operations against the important facilities of Iraq in the depth of that country's soil. This plan was approved. It was decided that some hours of Radio Urmia will be given to the Iraqi domestic program called "Voice of the Weak".

Mr. Rouhani came and informed that today our planes have hit the oil pump center of southern Iraq after passing through the airspace of Kuwait. The Iraqis themselves shot down one of their planes by mistake.

The commander of the naval force informed that an English oil ship - which was going to Kuwait - was hit.

At night, I went to Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei's office. Discussed with Dr. Rouhani about the protection of army information. Dr. Rouhani believes that a cleric should be at the head of it, the president disagrees. Finally, Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei agreed with its independence and the leadership of an individual like Colonel [Mustafa] Tarabi [Pour]. In the evening, the Central Council of the Fighting Clergy Community had a meeting about the sending of prominent clerics to the front.
