Since we do not intend to negotiate with the current government of Afghanistan in this regard, I did not say anything in this regard, accepting the essence of the matter, which is an attempt to solve the problem, and invited Mr. Ceausescu to come to Iran to develop relations.

[Mr. Farouq al-Shora] the foreign minister of Syria came. He had come to Iran to make preparations for Hafez Asad's trip. Mr. [Ali] Fallahian came to report on security and intelligence matters and support for development. Mr. [Ali Akbar] Velayati and Mr. [Mahmoud] Vaezi also gave explanations regarding today's guests.
