It is not an important issue in reports. I was in the public meeting from eight in the morning until half past one in the afternoon. We breathed only for prayer and lunch. There were six ministers in the order, except [Mr. Seyed Majid Hedayatzadeh] for the Ministry of Commerce, the rest received a vote of confidence. Mr. [Ali] Shamkhani, the Minister of the Revolutionary Guards, got the most votes; Out of 218 votes, 202 were in favor [10 were against and 6 were abstentions]. I came to my office.

The commander of Qom [Corpse] and Mr. [Seyd Abbas] Kothari came and asked for the water of Qom and the construction plans of the city, and for the participation of the Corps in the control of the security affairs of the city. In the evening, a person came to ask for help for the people. I transferred them to a center in Isfahan that works in the same direction.

Colonel Torabi [Commander of Army Intelligence Protection] came. He complained about the non-cooperation of the Ministry of Intelligence in security matters with the security [army]. [Ferydoun] Mahdinejad and IRGC officials came in relation to the Palestinian movement and reported on the situation of the Palestinian Muslim uprising and demanded that the affairs of the movement be entrusted to the IRGC; Now it is in the hands of the Ministry of Information, but some of the leaders of the movement would like not to be with the information.

The parliamentary delegation that went to Hungary under the chairmanship of Mr. [Sadegh] Khalkhali gave a trip report. As usual, they talked about the warm welcome of the hosts and their interest in developing relations. At half past seven, I went to the meeting of the Expediency Council. It was decided that the Friday imams of the provinces and big cities will be present at the headquarters of government punishments, as observers on behalf of the assembly. I came home after dinner.
