In the afternoon, [Akbar Torkan], the Minister of Defense, came. He reported on the trip to North Korea, the agreements, and new purchases from China for the navy, as well as purchases from Russia. The discussion also covered the budgets of the armed forces and the statute of ETKA [=Army Supply Union].
Dr. [Hassan] Habibi came. We discussed the formalities and the proposal to centralize them in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the issue of the Guardian Council's interpretation and the concerns of the hardliners and their objection to Dr. Habibi's statements in which he had said that we implement the Guardian Council's opinion.
In the afternoon, I came home. Yasser and Mohsen have gone to Rafsanjan. Mahdi will also go tomorrow. Fati and Saeed have gone to Kish. I, Efat, and Fa'ezeh are at home.
