I went to my office. [Mr. Esmat Sezgin], the Minister of Interior of Türkiye came. He brought Mr. [Turgut] Özal's letter and Mr. [Suleiman] Demirel's message indicating Turkey's willingness to cooperate more with Iran and maintain regional security and oppose the division of Iraq and Kurdish independence; I welcomed and said that the two sides should cooperate to fight against any sabotage and terrorism.
