I reached the parliament at seven in the morning. There were reports of some progress in the peace talks in New York. I stayed in the public meeting until half past ten. A trip to two provinces was made with the representatives of Ilam and Bakhtran. I met and talked with the IRGC logistics officials. The board of directors had a short meeting where they talked about the organizational houses of the representatives.

In the afternoon, many families of martyrs from the western border regions of the country, who are also war immigrants, came from Gilan, Somar, Naft Shahr, Qasr Shirin and villages. They arrived late and were tired and exhausted. I spoke to them briefly.

The members of the delegation came between the assemblies. They gave the report of the trip to Bulgaria; are satisfied Iran's situation is better in international centers after the adoption of Resolution 598. In the evening, disabled and veteran athletes went to Seoul to participate in the Olympic Games. 35 athletes go. I spoke for them and encouraged them. They are participating from sixty countries.

Mr. Arab, the new ambassador of Iran in Oman, came to consult and say goodbye. I talked with the guards about the division of duties and the provision of housing. Mr. Saeed Al-Zakarin came to discuss the ceremonies and hospitality of the Speaker of the Sierra Leone Parliament, who is coming to Iran at my invitation. I worked in my office until eight o'clock and came home.
