I stayed for half of the public session in the parliament and a few articles of the Press Law were passed. After the cabinet issue passed, the atmosphere in the parliament became calm and the turbulence subsided. At noon, a few representatives came to my office. I stayed in the parliament for half of the public session and several articles of the press law were approved. After the cabinet issue passed, the atmosphere in the parliament calmed down and became turbulent. At noon, several members of the parliament came to my office. An unsigned statement was printed and the names of several of the deputies were mentioned as those who had voted against Mr. Mousavi's appointment as prime minister. Some of them are upset and want me to deny it in some way. The newsletter of the Islamic Propagation Organization has also included it in its previous issue. I told Mr. [Ahmad] Jannati [the head of the Islamic Propagation Organization] to write in the next issue that since the vote is secret, these contents are not valid.
In the evening, I stayed in my office, read the reports, and did my paperwork. I did not attend the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Today, Iraq has attacked the radio and television centers in Ilam and Kuh-e-Noor and disabled them. We used them for propaganda inside Iraqi territory. Our air force has also attacked two Iraqi oil centers. We told the War Propaganda Headquarters to publish the news in the same way that it shows the Iraqi adventure.
