Hashemi's Friday Prayer

Hashemi's Narrative on the Margins of the Popular Demonstrations After the Iranian Football Game

Full text of the diary:

I was at home. I was reading for the Friday sermons and also read a doctoral dissertation by a student who compared my positions with those of the Supreme Leader during my presidency and concluded that my positions are closer to the will of the people and that the role of the president is rational and legal.

We had rain last night and today. I went to the University of Tehran for Friday prayers. I delivered a sermon on greed and contentment and a sermon on the wrong actions of the United States in its invasion of the region and the war with Afghanistan.

The UN Security Council resolution on the withdrawal of Israeli forces from six occupied cities in the West Bank is important; the European Union had previously issued such a decree and the United States had asked Israel to do so.

Bombing of Afghanistan and civilian casualties continue. An Afghan group under the command of Abdul Haq, one of the former jihadi commanders of Afghanistan, had infiltrated the Taliban area to open a foothold for Zahir Shah in Pakistan, was surrounded by the Taliban and was captured, and a number of people were killed, and tonight they announced that they had executed him, even though the American planes tried to save him, which is a victory for the Taliban.

According to reports from last night, there was vandalism and bad slogans in the youth demonstrations after the victory of the Iranian footballers, and some of them were arrested.
