Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi, [Minister of Education], came for education affairs and suggested that I attend more Friday prayers to warm up. I told them to arrange for students from high schools to participate.
Mr. [Hossein] Mahluji, [Minister of Mines and Metals] and [Mohammed Taghi] Banki came. They gave a report on the status of iron production and coal and iron ore mines and requested the allocation of currency and rials for the speed of work. Dr. [Hadi] Monafi, [Head of the Environmental Organization and Head of the Medical System Organization] came. They talked about the medical system, the environment, the demand for hunting sheikhs of the Persian Gulf, and the nature park of Tehran. At noon, Fati came and had lunch with me.
In the evening, Mr. [Ali] Falahian, [Information Minister] came for Shahid Beheshti Medical School issues and other information issues. I participated in the meeting of the Supreme National Security Council. The issue of seizing an Iranian ship inside Turkey and the 13th of November ceremony, as well as the issue of controlling the statements of officials in speeches and Palestinian issues and the Madrid [Peace] Conference, were brought up and decided. We were supposed to be Ayatollah Khamenei's guest with Ahmad Agha. I gave up because of too much work; I informed that I will not come.
