Mr. [Sidkamal] Kharrazi [Permanent Representative of Iran to the United Nations] came. He reported on the work at the United Nations and made suggestions about the acceptance of [Mr. Gallindopel] as a representative of the [United Nations] Human Rights [Commission] and the propaganda movement regarding the prisoners and the resolution. In the evening, I went to the government board. It was decided to follow up on the implementation of my obligations in the trip and to improve the status of Bazargan Customs and Tehran Passenger Terminal and several government resolutions. The head of [organization of] civil aviation and [airline company] of the Islamic Republic [Homa] were confirmed.
At night, we had a meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei. We discussed the results of my trip and the economic programs and political issues of the country. There is complete understanding. I did not go home at night. I worked in my office until midnight.
