I read the reports until half past seven in the morning. I was in the public session of the parliament until nine o'clock. I answered inquiries in my office until a quarter past ten. Dr. Hadi came. They talked about the hostages and Mr. Montazeri's condition. We were in Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei's office until one o'clock in the meeting of the High Council of War Support. Mr. Mohsen Rezaei came at two o'clock. They talked about the war and the issue of freeing the hostages.

In the evening, Mr. Sadraei from the Revolutionary History Foundation came with Mr. Boroujerdi. He proposed to transfer complex research secrets from America. Mr. Noorani Rouhani came from Tehran Municipality and complained about the mayor and employees.

Mr. Amrullahi came and asked for help to get the atomic energy budget. Mr. Moniruddin Hosseini came. He brought the works of his research office, which prepare the method of setting up an Islamic system. Mr. Rafiq Dost came and asked for help for the construction of the IRGC's organizational houses in the location of the Baha'i shrine [Shahid Mahalati town of Tehran], which he recently received from the foundation with my help and the order of the Imam.

In the first night, we had a meeting with the commanders of the Ramadan camp. They reported the operation of Fatah 1. We were the guests of Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei on the evening of the Heads of State. There were many issues of negotiation: the war, Mr. Montazeri's issue, the exchange of hostages and weapons, and the lack of funds.
