At eight o'clock, I went with family members and relatives to see the Imam for Mohsen's marriage to Azam Hashemi. I recited the marriage formula on behalf of Mohsen, and the Imam recited it on behalf of the bride, and Fati recorded it on a tape recorder. The Imam signed the Quran included in the dowry and offered some advice, and Hossein Aqa Marashi also recited a poem he had written in mourning for the martyr Saduqi. Then we came home and gave the bride's gifts.

I contacted the parliament so that two or three representatives would go to Bakhtaran on my behalf to attend the funeral ceremony of the martyr Ashrafi [Esfahani]. Some relatives who had not gone to see the Imam were upset, but they themselves had arrived late. Some relatives were our guests for the luncheon feast.

In the afternoon, I went to the airport to welcome the chairman of the North Korean parliament, who had come to Iran at my invitation. The official welcoming ceremony was held, and I escorted the guests to the Esteghlal Hotel.

Then I attended a meeting at Mr. Khamenei's office, where Dr. Velayati reported on his trip to New York and his meetings with fifteen foreign ministers. He had emphasized that compensation for the war must be paid to us, and for now Algeria is trying to win us over. It seems they may be trying to deceive us.

We had official talks with the Korean guests in parliament. Both sides spoke about their countries' achievements and common points. I slept there.
