I stayed in the public meeting until half past ten in the morning. Mr. Khazali came to my office. They had questions about the Ministry of Oil. Dr. Hadi and Abdullah Nouri came. Ayatollah Montazeri asked them; They discussed the negotiations. Mr. Salehi, representative of Isfahan, came and talked about current affairs.

At noon, two people from the Hezbollah group came to Babylon. In a report on the status of their group, they said that its members have devoted themselves to serving the war, the system, and the people. They had interesting content. In the evening Mr. [Ibrahim] Sanjaghi came for the affairs of the war. The officials of front propaganda and sending missionaries came and asked for help to solve their problems. Our new ambassador came to Algeria and consulted and said goodbye.

At night, we were guests of Ahmad Agha with other military leaders. Ayatollah Montazeri was also there. Mr. Montazeri spoke well about the last meeting and expressed his devotion and obedience to the Imam and said that he did not know about Seyyed Mahdi's letter, but the Imam did not give any discount on the issue of Seyyed Mahdi's group. After the imam left, in the presence of Mr. Montazeri, a discussion and decision was made regarding the negotiation with Saudi Arabia regarding cooperation in removing Saddam. I was supposed to follow the negotiation.
