It is raining today like yesterday. I was in the public session of the parliament until half past ten. In breathing, Basij member sisters came in front of the parliament. I gave a speech for them. Mr. [Mohsen Mojtahed] Shabastri [representative of Tehran] and [Morad Ali] Ahmadi [representative of Sanghar and Keliayi] and some representatives came separately for their respective tasks and their deficiencies.

In the evening, the Islamic Association of Vocational Technical Education Organization and the Minister of Education and Deputy Ministers came. Matters were raised about the reforms in the education system and the few problems of teachers' rights and dealing with representatives and the judiciary. I advised them to observe moderation.

At night, we were guests of Mr. Ardabili with other military leaders. I received a phone call from Mr. Rafiq Dost about the results of his trip to Syria. Talked with Mr. Rezaei about the operation. Dr. Velayati told the results of his trip to Syria and explained the problem of Palestinians and Amal in Lebanon, and Syria's permission to use their borders for us to enter Iraq and Libya's strictness in giving the rest of the promised missiles.

Ahmad Agha told Imam's opinion about Seyyed Mehdi Hashemi's interview broadcast [on TV] and we agreed to talk with Imam in the next meeting. I told the Prime Minister that he has hastily judged Mr. Salari, to re-examine. I arrived home late.
