I came to my office at half past seven. At nine o'clock in the morning, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and his delegation came. Before the meeting, Dr. Habibi and Noorbakhsh explained the negotiations and before that I read a pamphlet about Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister and [Mr. Abdul Razzaq Mansoor] the Minister of Labor [of Sri Lanka], who is a brave and enlightened Muslim, spoke and I spoke too. It was a good negotiation. They gave gifts; They seem friendly.

We discussed the use of air force transport planes in national affairs; We reached the desired result. A large number of cargo and passenger transport planes remain unused in Nahaja [Army Air Force], and with their arrival in the country's transportation, the bottlenecks will be solved. This fruitless discussion had been going on for years, and today, with my presence in the discussion, I apparently put an end to the discussions.
We talked on the phone with the leadership about Ahmad Agha's company in our private meeting. Mr. [Abdullah] Nouri and [Ali] Fallahian informed that in Izeh, a conflict broke out between a tribe and the [Islamic Revolution] Committee, and a group of people were killed on both sides, and the people of the committee were captured. It was decided to send troops to calm the situation.
At night, we had a meeting of the heads of the forces in the office of Mr. [Mohammed] Yazdi [Head of the Judiciary]. We discussed the economic, political and security situation. It was agreed that Mr. Yazdi would assist the Isfahan prosecutor to implement the Mobarake steel wastewater project. I stayed in my office at night.
