Full text of the day:

I stayed home and spent time studying. Commander Nasr's report regarding [Jalal] Talabani's conflict with Jundallah, in Halabja, Iraq, and that Jundallah is a Salafist, anti-Shia and pro-Taliban, and they are also involved with the Islamic Movement led by Abdulaziz [Hakim].

I reviewed the opinions of the Guardian Council on the parliamentary approvals regarding hardship and embarrassment for women and also the statutes of Bank Tejarat [Economic Cooperation Organization] ECO. The agenda of the next meeting of the Assembly is [recognizing the expediency of the system].

There were reports of several clashes between the police and the mob at last night's revelry. In some cases, bad slogans have been given, a crowd has been arrested, and the cars of the survivors and some public facilities have been damaged. Mr. Mahdawi Shahroudi came and said, "He has accepted the mission of the consulate in Jeddah and the representation in the Organization of the Islamic Conference."

The leaders of today have gone to Najafabad, and contrary to the fears of some, they have received a great welcome. In the foreign media, there is a lot of negative publicity about the statements of the leadership in Isfahan and his statements about the duty of officials to follow the policies approved by the leadership have taken as evidence of contradiction in the constitution and say that now the parliament and the government have no choice but to surrender or resign.

In the refugee camp that Iran has set up on the Zabul border in Afghanistan, the influx of refugees beyond the capacity has become a problem, and the conflict has preceded and infectious diseases are another problem. The Turkish government, after a seven-hour secret meeting, approved sending military forces to Afghanistan at the request of the United States; Canada and Germany have already agreed to send troops, and Japan has agreed to provide logistical assistance. The United States has said that of the 19 people involved in the 9/11 attacks, 15 received visas from Saudi Arabia, two from Berlin and two from the United Arab Emirates.

The representative of the United Front of Afghanistan at the United Nations has said that we have asked the United States not to stop the war in the month of Ramadan. Because the Taliban are strengthening themselves. The question is whether the war will continue in Ramadan or not.
