Mr. [Syed Mahmoud] Doa'i, [representative of the Crown Prince and head of the Information Institute] came. He asked for help for the information newspaper that is going to be published daily in Europe and America. Mr. [Mohsen] Rafiq Dost, [Chairman of the Mustafafan and Veterans Foundation] came. He had opinions about the problems of cotton, textile factories and cement factories, foreign exchange issues and the Mustafafan Foundation.

Mr. Kharazi [Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of Iran to the United Nations] came. He gave a report on the cultural works in America and the attraction of many of them, and expressed his appreciation for the successes of the first program and the major changes in Iran.

[Mr. Gholamreza Shafei], Minister of Cooperation and deputies came to report. Mr. [Mortaza] Mohammad Khan, [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance] came. He reported on his trip to America and asked for an opinion on the quality of dealing with the World Bank.

In the evening, the government board had a meeting; I was a guest of the leadership with several decrees and nights. We discussed the issues of Yemen and Iraqi Kurdistan, the Taliban personally, the purchases of the Tehran subway, the Afghan Unity Party and their elections, and the printing of money for the Afghan government and the Revolution Stadium during his trip to Jamkaran, and the construction of a school and library in Qom, and the purchase of the personal library of the late Seyyed Mustafa Khansari.

I arrived home late. Efat also went to visit the syringe factory of Dr. [Shafiqa Raheedah, wife of Dr.] Habibi and had a lot of praise.
