In Iran, the government and parliament were also attacked for not paying attention to the needs of the workers, and the teachers were very critical of the government.

I worked at home and in my office. In the evening, Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh, [the head of the Atomic Energy Organization], came and gave a report on the progress of the atomic energy works and asked me to visit. In Pakistan, Musharraf's opponents have accused him of widespread fraud in the referendum, and AFP has said that voters were free to cast their ballots several times! But the World Bank, at the request of the United States, provided Pakistan with a $1 billion loan for 30 years.
