Mr. [Ali] Majdi, our new ambassador in Brazil, came. He explained the situation in Brazil and took my opinion on business policy. Dr. [Hasan] Habibi, [First Vice President] came to Brazil to report on the affairs and consult about the trip.
Chastity and Fati came in the afternoon. Fati had questions about the correspondence of the Women's Office. I finished the work by the evening and went to the meeting of the government board. I went to the [Mehrabad] airport at half past five in the afternoon. We flew to Mashhad. We arrived at half past seven. The ceremony and interview were held at the airport. The people gave a warm welcome. Usually, during our trips to Mashhad, we were not welcomed by people.
Family members were also there. They went to Mustafa Khani garden and I settled near the shrine. We had dinner with scholars and clergy of the city and guests. The singers chanted.
I studied until eleven o'clock at night. Then I went to visit the Holy Shrine. At twelve o'clock at night, I got the news and slept.
