I reached my office at half past eight. At half past nine in the morning, the participants in the international Quran memorization and recitation competitions came. Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi, [Minister of Education] reported that ten Islamic countries participated in this round of Quran competitions. Ebtekar is from Iran. The participants of Sudan are first and Iran are second. Malaysian and Indonesian teenage students read Quran and memorized exams from Sudan and Libya. An 11-year-old Sudanese student memorized the entire Quran and a 17-year-old Libyan student memorized half of the Quran and passed the exam well. The boy from Tajikistan also said some exciting words. I enjoyed, encouraged them and gave a speech. A teenager from Syria sang a hymn.

He expressed opinions about economic issues and complained about the problems of the Supreme Council of Radio and Television Policymaking and said about the weakness and dispersion of the council members' votes and the difficulty of making decisions in that diverse group of whims and opinions. He is right.
