I studied until nine o'clock. I did the work. The managers of the program and budget organization came. Mr. [Masoud Roghani] Zanjani gave a work report and I spoke in detail. Mr. [Sidreza] Zavarei [Head of the Real Estate and Deeds Registration Organization] came. He applied for the budget for registration and cars for registration and criticized some of the opposite line. Dr. [Hasan] Habibi came for the current affairs of the country and to report on the negotiations with the Soviet Minister of Roads.

Mr. Amirza Hossein Noori [Hamdani] from Qom scholars came. They informed that a group of leaders of the third line, such as Mr. [Asadullah] Bayat, Mr. Hadi Khamenei, [Rasul] Mutjabnia, etc., met with them and requested them to form a crowd in front of the community of teachers in Qom, in order to form a group of disparate forces outside of them. He consulted me. He himself was worried about the consequences of divisions such as the [Community] of the [Mubarez] Clergy and the [Assembly] of the Clergy in Tehran.

Mr. [Alireza] Askari, commander of the IRGC in Lebanon, came and said that he asked for more funds and facilities due to the problems caused by the restrictions created by Syria after the recent clashes between Hezbollah and Amal.

[Mr. Abdullah Nouri] Minister of Interior came. He talked about the actions of the new [Tehran] mayor [Mr. Gholamhossein Karbaschi] and the issues of the provinces and the fight against moral corruption. Dr. [Iraj] Fazel [Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education] came. He was proud of the persecutions of the radical line of the universities and parliament. He was going to Kuwait; Consulted for negotiations there. I did the work until half past eight.
