Memoirs of Akbar Hashemi – March 24, 1993

In my office, a group of ministers, representatives and managers came to congratulate. Mr. [Ali Akbar] Natiq Noori, [Chairman of the Islamic Council] came; They talked about the presidential election.

We went to the airport and immediately flew to Kish. On the way, Mr. Mirzadeh talked about the performance of Mr. [Mohsen] Mehralizadeh, the previous manager [of Azad Kish], and discussed the necessity of moving the offices of state-owned companies from Tehran and reducing the salaries of the managers of this company.

After lunch and rest, we went to the sea. I rode a jet ski for an hour. Then we went to the grove; It is newly built. It seems to be growing well and has shown results. We visited the forest park, streets, beaches, and the Shiite mosque under renovation and development, which was interesting.

We had dinner together as usual. I walked a little on the beach and wrote the memories of the past two days. I talked a bit with Mohsen about the Rafsanjan cultural complex. I also talked a little with Hajiya Waldeh. I told Mahdi to show his religion to his father. The children went for a walk and I rested.
