At noon, Mr. Jafari, the unsuccessful candidate from Bonab, came and objected to the approval of Mr. [Mir Yusef] Jaberi's credentials, relying on the Guardian Council's opinion; it was already in the past.
In the afternoon, I met with the propaganda unit of the [Islamic Republic] Party and talked about publicity. Then I attended the meeting of the party's Central Council. Approving the job descriptions and the party's financial situation took up our time. Late at night, I went to Parliament and read the reports. Mr. Sayyad [Shirazi] called from the front and was unhappy that all the commanders were to come from the front to the Supreme Defense Council. I agreed.
Mr. [Ali Asghar] Baghani, the representative of Sabzevar, came and was concerned that, following the Sabzevar incidents, an indictment had been issued against Mr. Alavi, and also about the inactivity of the [Islamic Republic Party branch] in Sabzevar.
