Mr. [Aladdin] Boroujerdi informed that the trip of the Afghan and Pakistani delegations, which were supposed to come today, has been postponed to Saturday; I accepted At ten o'clock in the morning, Messrs. [Masoud Roghani] Zanjani, [Mohammed] Saidi Kia, [Minister of Roads and Transport] and experts came. There was a negotiation about the Tehran-Chalous highway. The Minister of Roads and Transport was in favor and the Program and Budget Organization was against. I commented that the credit of the studies should be given.

Our new ambassador came to the Netherlands to say goodbye and get an opinion. I told him to examine the use of our purchasing power leverage to get points. We are going to apply this policy in relation to other countries that are our trading partners. Mr. [Mohammed] Gharehi, [Minister of Post, Telegraph and Telephone] came. He appealed about obtaining a license to build satellites for telecommunication purposes and fill the place registered in the name of Iran in space. We were supposed to have a meeting. He also consulted about telephone purchases.

Fazeh came and took seventy thousand tomans to help the needy. In the evening Dr. [Mohammed Hossein] Adeli, [CEO of Central Bank] came. Regarding the remaining currency share of the president, a decision was made. He demanded that the Ministry of Oil coordinate with the Central Bank in the advance sale of oil. Then Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh, [Minister of Oil], asked on the phone; I said to coordinate.

I came home after breaking the fast. The children also came. During the month of Ramadan, I was only able to break the fast at home for a few days.
