It snowed a lot last night. On the way to my office, I found the pile of snow all over Tehran, at the end of the season, interesting. In some cases, there were roadblocks.

Mr. [Mohsen] Nurbakhsh, [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance] and [Mortaza] Mohammad Khan, [Director General of Customs] and [Hamid] Mirzadeh, [Executive Vice President] came. The customs issues of Kish were negotiated. It was decided to keep the customs operation and it was suggested that it be done in Kish itself instead of customs operations in numerous internal customs offices. Mr. Mirzadeh asked for a one-week deadline for investigation.

Mr. [Jalil] Besharati came to the deprived areas and had plans and suggestions. Mr. [Abdul Hossein] Wahaji, [Minister of Commerce] came. He gave the report of the UNCTAD meeting in Colombia and said that their facilities and preparations for Iran were very weak and they took money for everything. Westerners influenced. He asked for more approval and support for the work of the ministry.

In the evening Mr. [Mohsen] Rezaei came and said the readiness of the IRGC for more cooperation in the affairs of the country and industries. The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution had a meeting. We decided to accept a tuition fee student from abroad. We had many approvals. Iftar was my guest. I came home at half past eight.

In the reports, the issue of the North Korean ships that the US claims are carrying Scud missiles for Iran and Syria is still being considered. Today we had a lot of snow in Tehran and many other parts of the country.
