I did things until nine o'clock in the morning. Mr. [Mohammed Hassan] Nabavi, the representative of Bushehr, came and requested for the construction works of the province. Timsar [Mustafa] Turabi gave a report on the situation of Sahfaja [Army Protection and Intelligence Organization] and the needs. The Ministers of Industry, Commerce, Economy and the Governor of the Central Bank came. The foreign exchange needs of industries were discussed. It was decided to give more currency to industries. The quota we had set was not given.

[Mr. Yıldırım Ak Bulot] Prime Minister of Türkiye and a group of his companions came to meet. The negotiations were friendly and in the direction of developing relations, and emphasized more on the [construction of] gas pipeline and border security issues and support for Turkish Muslims in Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, etc. After the meeting, the meeting continued with the ministers of production.

In the evening, Mr. [Mohammed] Abai [Khorasani] and [Syed Hossein] Mousavi Tabrizi and [Mohammed] Jafari Gilani from the [Islamic] Propaganda Office of Qom came. They were worried about the future of their line in the field. They think that the opposite line is closer to the leadership. They complained that why the students did not react appropriately to Mr. [Ahmed] Azari Qomi's recent statements before [sermons] of Friday prayers in Tehran. They asked for help with the office and asked me to help improve their relationship with the leadership. I encouraged them to try not to raise suspicion.

In the evening, the central council [community] of the clergy [Moborz Tehran] had a meeting in my office. The government's economic policies were discussed and Mr. Azari Qomi's lack of taste in raising unnecessary issues about the leadership and the reaction of the opposite faction were criticized. I came home at night.
